Great post! Love to see these breakdowns. One thing I’ve always wondered is how you break down holdings in financial assets further into real assets - the real stuff all the paper winds up pointing to. Like what are all the pensions invested in, and what drives the value of those holdings?
It's a very good question, and one I'm reading about now. Mostly, at the start, very safe things like govt bond type stuff or money market to match liabilities, from my understanding.
